Apple’s 15-inch MacBook Air Details Emerge: Larger Display, Improved Battery Life.

Get ready for an exciting new addition to the MacBook lineup – the yet-to-be-released 15-inch MacBook Air has been leaked in the App Store developer diary. With a larger size and higher-resolution display.

Display and Processor: Bigger and Better?

The rumored 15-inch MacBook Air is expected to boast a larger display than its predecessors, giving users more screen real estate for enhanced productivity and entertainment. Apple seems to be continuing with the same processor specifications as current models, featuring an M2 chip with eight main processing cores and 10 graphics cores.

Developers have also discovered that the Macs in testing are running macOS 14, the new version of Apple’s operating system set to be unveiled at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) on June 5th.

Production on the Rise

As early as February this year, Apple reportedly began mass-producing screens for the 15-inch MacBook Air, with production and screen orders continuing to ramp up in March and April. However, those hoping for an OLED screen might be disappointed – industry insiders claim that this new model will stick with a traditional LCD panel. The earliest we could see an OLED upgrade for the MacBook Air is 2024.

Longer Battery Life

One of the most enticing aspects of the 15-inch MacBook Air is its potential for significantly improved battery life. Thanks to the increased size, there’s more room for a larger battery, with estimates suggesting a battery life of up to 20 hours. This impressive figure could make the new MacBook Air a top choice for users who need a powerful, long-lasting laptop for work or travel.

Stay tuned for more updates on the 15-inch MacBook Air, as we eagerly await its official announcement.
