Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 Flagship Foldable Phone Starting Price $1299

Xiaomi has unveiled its latest foldable phone innovation – the MIX Fold 3 – packing some seriously drool-worthy specs that aim to perfect the foldable experience.

Headlining the Mix Fold 3 is the inner display, an 8.03-inch 2160×1916 OLED stunner. Thanks to Samsung’s Eco2 OLED tech and E6 material, it can hit an ultra-bright 2600 nits peak brightness while serving up deliciously vibrant images and videos. An adaptive 1-120Hz LTPO refresh rate ensures flawlessly smooth scrolling and animations.

Content really pops with Dolby Vision and HDR10+ certification, while the UTG protective glass and waterdrop hinge keep things durable. Unfolding the Mix Fold 3 reveals a grade A+ foldable display.

But Xiaomi didn’t skimp on the outer display either. It rocks a 6.56-inch 2520×1080 panel, also with Samsung’s E6 material, 120Hz refresh rate, and 2600 nits peak brightness. The centered punch-hole cutout blends in nicely. Victus 2 glass provides protection against scrapes and drops.

Powering the phone is Qualcomm’s cutting-edge Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 chip, providing flagship-level performance perfect for multitasking. Generous LPDDR5X RAM and speedy UFS 4.0 storage combine for lightning responsiveness.

An advanced cooling system with stainless steel VC vapor chamber heat spreader ensures the Mix Fold 3 won’t get hot under pressure.

For photography, Xiaomi packed in a versatile quad camera array, featuring a 50MP main, 12MP ultrawide, 10MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom, and 10MP periscope with 5x optical zoom. That’s some serious hardware muscle.

Quick charging? The Mix Fold 3 has that covered too with 67W wired and 50W wireless charging support.

With a premium foldable display, top-tier power, and versatile camera setup, the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 brings together the very best hardware available into a futuristic folding phone package. Initial reviews are glowing, and it looks set to give Samsung a run for its money in the foldable race. Once again, Xiaomi is proving they can innovate with the best of them.
