Second-Gen Apple Watch Ultra coming this fall? Headline the Fall Lineup

According to top Apple analyst Mark Gurman, Apple fans should expect a slew of new devices coming down the pike over the 2023. In his latest Power On newsletter, Gurman reports that this fall we’ll likely see the Apple Watch Series 9 and second-gen Apple Watch Ultra, plus the iPhone 15 lineup.

Further down the road, Gurman says new Macs with M3 chips (like maybe a new M3 MacBook and MacBook Pro?) should drop either late this year or early next. Also hints at a new iMac with a 24-inch screen, leaping over the M2 generation entirely. And if that’s not enough, brace yourselves for a brand new iMac model with a screen size exceeding 30 inches. Could this be the long-awaited Apple Silicon iMac Pro? previous 27-inch Intel-based iMac Pro had a Xeon chip, so this new model might use the M2 Ultra like in the Mac Studio and Mac Pro.

While Gurman didn’t share specs for the bigger iMac, he did say it’s still early days. So we don’t know if it’ll have an M3, M3 Pro or M3 Ultra chip, or something else.

On the iPad front, Gurman says new models for 2024 are already in development, including an OLED iPad Pro and refreshed iPad Air. Rounding things out, third-gen AirPods Pro, a new Apple TV, and other smart home gadgets are in the works too, though still early on.
