Leaked iPhone 15 Series Front Glass Panels Reveal Dynamic Island Design and More

Apple iPhone 15 series has been the subject of numerous rumors and speculations, sparking the interest of tech enthusiasts worldwide. Recently, leaked images of three front glass panels have provided a glimpse into the design of the iPhone 15 series. From these leaks, it appears that Apple is set to incorporate the Dynamic Island design across all iPhone 15 models.

Dynamic Island Design for All iPhone 15 Models

The leaked images of the front glass panels reveal openings at the top, which are likely reserved for the Dynamic Island. This design element is similar to what we’ve seen in the current iPhone 14 Pro. It seems that Apple has decided to bring this feature to all iPhone 15 models, including the standard and Plus versions.

However, there is a caveat, while both the iPhone 15 basic version and the iPhone 15 Plus will feature the Dynamic Island display, Apple has imposed limitations on the standard version, iPhone 15 basic version will only support 60Hz refresh rate and will not have Always-On Display (AOD) capabilities.

USB Support: Faster Transfers for iPhone 15 Pro

The latest leaks also suggest that iPhone 15 Pro will support USB 3.2, enabling transmission rates of up to 5Gbps, max 500MB/s. In contrast, the iPhone 15 will only support USB 2.0, resulting in a significantly slower transmission rate of 480Mbps (roughly 60MB/s), difference in USB support highlights yet another distinction between the Pro and standard models in the upcoming iPhone 15 series.

Chipset Variations: A17 Bionic for iPhone 15 Pro, A16 Bionic for iPhone 15

Apple’s iPhone 15 series will also see a difference in chipsets, with the iPhone 15 Pro featuring the A17 Bionic chip, while the standard iPhone 15 will be powered by the A16 Bionic chip. This distinction may result in varying performance capabilities between the two models, further differentiating the Pro version from its standard counterpart.
