Nothing Phone (2): Upgraded to Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Processor

Nothing company started by OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei, is about to drop its second smartphone, the Nothing Phone (2), new phone will come loaded with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip. Pei said the new processor will give the Nothing Phone (2) a “huge boost” in performance over last year’s Nothing Phone (1).

Carl Pei confirmed that the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 of Nothing Phone (2) will provide better performance compared to its predecessor. The choice of this processor over the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 was made with the user’s benefit in mind, as the latest technology is not always justified in terms of cost. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 not only ensures accessibility but also delivers a significantly improved experience.

The Nothing Phone (2) has already appeared on a running score platform with a model number of A065, scored 1253 points for its single-core running and 3833 points for its multi-core running. It has a processor frequency of 3.0 GHz, including three 2.5GHz high-performance cores and four 1.8GHz low-power cores, boasts 8GB and 12GB of RAM.

Expected offering a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a fingerprint recognition function under the screen, also has a 50-megapixel main camera.
