Apple Announces WWDC23 Schedule: Expect iOS 17, macOS 14, WatchOS 10, and More

Apple has finally announced the schedule for the highly anticipated Worldwide Developers Conference WWDC23, which is set to take place from Monday, June 5th to Friday, June 9th, 2023. This year’s event will be held online and is free for all developers to attend. The opening day will feature special experience activities that will take place in Apple Park, giving developers and students a chance to interact with one another.

The WWDC23 conference will provide developers with a unique opportunity to learn about the latest technologies, tools, and frameworks that will be coming to iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, and watchOS platforms. This year, developers will have the chance to communicate directly with Apple engineers and experts through one-on-one lab consultations and events in Slack, where they can get guidance on how to create innovative apps and games for different platforms.

Apple is expected to release several exciting updates during the conference, including iOS 17, macOS 14, WatchOS 10, and long-awaited AR/VR Headset, as well as the 15-inch MacBook Air.

The keynote address, which will kick off the conference, will provide developers with a glimpse of the updates that will be coming to Apple platforms later this year. The keynote will be streamed live online at apple.com and the Apple Developer app, with a recap of the eventavailable on-demand after the live broadcast.

Platforms State of the Union, another important event, will delve into new tools, technologies, and advancements across Apple’s platforms, giving developers the chance to take their apps to the next level. The event will be streamed live online through the Apple Developer app and the Apple Developer website.

The Apple Design Awards, which will be announced during the conference, will recognize and celebrate the arts, crafts, creativity, and technical achievements of the Apple developer community. This year’s winners will be announced through the Apple Developer app and website.

WWDC23 will offer 175 in-depth video lectures, bringing together the latest tools and technologies to help developers create a new generation of apps and games. Additionally, developers can book one-on-one lab consultations with Apple experts to explore technology, design, and App Store-related issues, including how to improve the presence of apps in the store.

To lecture videos and one-on-one lab consultations, Apple engineers and designers will also hold online events through Slack this week to help developers participate in technical discussions, answer questions, and communicate with each other.

The Apple Developer App is the perfect way to experience WWDC23 on Mac, iPhone, and iPad. Developers can browse content by topic, sign up for Slack events and one-on-one lab consultations, watch videos with peers through simulcasting, copy code from lecture videos directly into Xcode, read feature stories, and more.
