Will Apple’s Vision Pro XR Headset Become a Reality in February?

Apple geeks hold onto your hats – long-awaited Apple Vision Pro may finally make its debut next month! now shipping to US distribution warehouses. Mark Gurman from Bloomberg just spilled the beans that preparations for the XR headset’s launch are in full swing. Whaaaat?

According to Gurman, the Vision Pro is already being shipped to Apple distribution centers and stores across the good ‘ole US of A. Gurman expects an official announcement from Apple about the launch date as early as next week – likely to steal CES’s thunder.

Some lucky retail employees are apparently headed to Apple Park for special Vision Pro sales training. These handpicked store reps will then return home to train the rest of the staff before the headset’s release. Apple has also planned extended training sessions the week of January 21. Hmmm, a February release date sure seems likely.

Initially, the Vision Pro and its sky-high $3499+ price tag will only be available in the US. Apple promised that other countries will get the device later in 2024. Gurman shared that China, Canada, and the UK are first on the list.

So all signs point to Apple’s Vision Pro graduating from rumor to reality next month. But will its hefty price tag appeal to the masses? Only time will tell if Apple’s vision for the future of XR takes hold. For now, the Apple faithful wait with bated breath for the Vision Pro’s long-awaited debut. What surprises lie in store? We’ll have to wait and see!
