Apple Unveils Powerhouse M3 MacBook Air 13/15-inch with Dual Display Support

Apple just took the wraps off its latest laptop powerhouses M3 MacBook Air lineup in 13 and 15-inch sizes.

A Portable Workhorse? featuring Apple’s shiny new M3 chip, these MacBook Airs promise a massive performance boost of up to 60% compared to the previous M1 models. Forget about your laptop slowing you down – the M3 is optimized for running hardcore AI models while still delivering an insane 18 hours of battery life.

But that’s not all these sleek notebooks have going for them. They pack crisp Liquid Retina displays with up to 500 nits of brightness. And in a first for MacBook Airs, the M3 models can power up to two external displays simultaneously when closed.

Pricing and Options Galore

The 13-inch M3 MacBook Air will start at $1,099, while its bigger 15-inch sibling clocks in at $1,299. Not too shabby for the performance on tap, if you ask me. Preorders open today, with the first units shipping on March 8th.

Apple didn’t cut corners on the extras either. You get MagSafe charging, WiFi 6E, two Thunderbolt ports, and even an upgraded 1080p FaceTime camera. Oh, and let’s not forget those impressive spatial audio and Dolby Atmos speakers.

The MacBook Air is famous for its thin and light design, and the M3 models continue that tradition at under half an inch thick. They’ll be available in starlight, space gray, silver, and a slick new midnight color with a fingerprint-resistant anodized finish.

While the $999 M2 MacBook Air sticks around for budget shoppers, anyone craving top-notch portable performance should seriously consider splurging on one of these M3 beauties. Between the beefy chip, long battery life, and unique dual-display talents, they just might give you a serious case of laptop envy.
