Apple’s Unreleased AR/VR Headset: What We Know So Far

Apple’s unreleased AR headset is the talk of the tech world, and Kosutami’s latest leak has only fueled the hype. The leaked components reveal an ergonomic design that fits the human eye. The components also appear to be used for the assembly of the frame.

One notable feature of the leaked components is the cable, which features a colored status indicator light and highly-integrated chips. This suggests that the machine to which the cable belongs is still in the development stage, and Apple is working to ensure that the headset’s performance and features are top-notch.

In comparison to the Meta Quest 2 VR headset, Apple’s AR headset boasts a wider FOV. Kosutami also claims that Apple’s AR headset will have “amazing display effects and software ecosystem,” which is sure to excite Apple fans and tech enthusiasts alike.

Apple fans won’t have to wait much longer to experience the highly-anticipated AR headset. The company is expected to release the “Reality Pro” AR/VR Headset at WWDC2023, which will take place from June 5th to Friday, June 9th, 2023 ( Apple Announces WWDC23 Schedule: Expect iOS 17, macOS 14, WatchOS 10, and More) . Apple is also set to release the software platform for the headset, which is rumored to be called xrOS.
