Huawei Mate 60 RS Leaked Design and Specs, Octagon Triple Camera Module

Real-life photos of the upcoming Huawei Mate 60 RS flagship phone have surfaced, providing the first look at the premium device’s unique design and key details.

The black variant of the Mate 60 RS adopts a sleek ceramic-like finish distinguished by sharp lines and a octagon triple camera module. This angular aesthetic diverges from the rounded Mate 60 and 60 Pro models.

Like its Mate 50 RS Porsche Design predecessor, the phone sports an “Ultimate Design” inscription on the back rather than a Porsche badge. Specifications are also largely identical to the Mate 60 Pro+ based on packaging leaks.

That means the Mate 60 RS will likely feature a 16GB RAM + 1TB storage configuration, satellite calling support, and the same model number, September production date indicates an imminent launch.

In terms of hardware, the phone is expected to contain Kirin 9000S or 9100 chipset, main 50MP camera will utilize Huawei’s XMAGE image signal processor for enhanced photography.

And 66W fast charging is rumored to enable a 50% charge in just 15 minutes. 5G connectivity, HarmonyOS, and stylus support round out the premium feature set.

With its striking new aesthetic and top-tier specs in a refined package, the Mate 60 RS seems positioned as Huawei’s ultimate smartphone offering. It will compete directly against the likes of the iPhone 15 Pro Max at the $1,200+ price point.

Unique octagon-shaped camera array already gives the phone an eye-catching identity before release.
