Design

About Pixel Fold design, unlike other foldable phones on the market, the Pixel Fold has a horizontal folding, similar to the OPPO Find N2. This design makes the device feel very comfortable to hold in your hand, and it’s also more compact than other foldable phones.

The Pixel Fold has an external screen of 5.8 inches with a resolution of 2,092 × 1,080. The screen-to-body ratio is very high, which means that the device is mostly screen and very little bezel. Unfold the foldable phone, you’ll find internal display that measures 7.6 inches with a resolution of 2208 × 1840. Both the internal and external display use OLED panels with a refresh rate of 120Hz.

Features

Pixel Fold comes packed Tensor G2 chipset, while some Twitter users replies have questioned why Google didn’t opt for the Snapdragon 8+ gen 2, the Tensor chip benefits from the improved Samsung 5nm process and is said to perform better than the Pixel 7 series.

From latest official renders, comes with a variety of pre-installed Google applications, including Gmail, Google Maps, and Google Drive. The device also features Pixel Launcher, which enables theme icons and displays At a Glance widgets.

Perhaps one of the most exciting features of the Pixel Fold is its multidevice support for WhatsApp. This means that you can use WhatsApp on both your iPhone and Pixel Fold device, making it easier to stay connected with friends and family.

Of course, there are always skeptics, and some users have questioned whether the Tensor chip is truly superior to other processors on the market. Additionally, some users have expressed disappointment that the device doesn’t feature more high-end specs or premium materials.

Ultimately, the success of the Pixel Fold will depend on how well it performs in the hands of consumers. But based on the official renders and initial reactions from Twitter users, it’s safe to say that the Pixel Fold is exciting smartphones of 2023. We can’t wait to get our hands on one and see what it can do!
