Samsung Display Launches Sensor OLED Panel: Fingerprint and heart rate sensors

Samsung has done it again! launched the Sensor OLED, the world’s first OLED panel with a built-in fingerprint sensor and heart rate sensor. This cutting-edge technology integrates biometric and health tracking sensors directly into the panel, built in fingerprint and heart rate sensors, reducing the complexity of phones and tablets.

As it eliminates the need for a separate fingerprint sensor, making it possible to reduce the overall size of the device. The built-in light-sensing Organic Photodiode (OPD) means that companies no longer need to install a separate sensor under the OLED panel during production, saving both space and cost.

Moreover, the light-sensing technology is integrated into each pixel of the OLED panel, enabling it to simultaneously sense fingerprints or heart rate information from multiple fingers. This means that the device can provide more accurate biometric authentication and measure blood pressure. The new OLED panel can also simultaneously measure the user’s stress level, providing a holistic view of their health.

Samsung Launches Sensor OLED Panel

Samsung has confirmed that this technology will be available in future Galaxy premium phones and tablets. The Sensor OLED panel is the perfect solution for users who want to have a seamless experience that simultaneously tracks their health and biometric data.

The integration of biometric and health tracking sensors into the OLED panel is a significant step forward in the field of mobile technology. As technology continues to advance, Samsung’s Sensor OLED panel is a glimpse into the future of mobile devices. With this technology, users can enjoy a more personalized and seamless experience, with accurate and real-time health and biometric data at their fingertips.
