Xiaomi Router 7000: Router Can Be Upgraded WiFi 7 Through OTA In The Future

In February at MWC2023, Xiaomi has showcased a WiFi 7 router BE7000, Xiaomi has per-order much-awaited router today, the Xiaomi Router 7000, priced at just 899 RMB ($130). Because Chinese market regulatory agency not license at wifi 7, don’t let that discourage you, router can be upgraded through OTA in the future.

Xiaomi Router 7000’s technical specifications are impressive, to say the least. Supports dual-band and triple-band switching and comes with a powerful Qualcomm A73 1.5GHz architecture IPQ 9554 processor, 1GB memory + 128MB flash memory. Stably connect up to 600 devices, making it perfect for larger households or offices. According to the Qualcomm official website, the IPQ 9554 processor is Networking Pro 620, a tri-band Wi-Fi 7 networking platform that supports 6 data streams, a 14nm process, quad-core up to 2.2GHz.

The Xiaomi Router 7000 has 7 external antennas and 2 internal antennas, 4 of which are 2.4G single-frequency antennas, while the other 4 are 5G single-frequency antennas, including an NFC antenna, making it easy to pair with other devices, theoretical transmission rate of the 2.4G of Router 7000 can reach up to 1147.1 Mbps, while its 5G transmission rate can reach up to 5764.8 Mbps.

In wired ports, same as model BE7000 router, equipped with 4 2.5G ports and 1 USB 3.0 port, providing users with versatile connectivity options.
