Customizing Your Apple Vision Pro Augmented Reality Experience, Eyes and Hands Settings

Apple Vision Pro wearers have options to personalize their augmented reality experience when pairing prescription Optical Inserts. Follow these tips to realign eyes and hands settings.

When swapping Optical Inserts, you’ll need to re-enroll your eyes as Vision Pro adjusts lighting during the process. It will guide you through aligning the Vision Pro displays to recalibrate tracking.

You can also customize hand interactions based on your needs. If a medical condition limits input options for one hand, you can enable left or right hand only tapping and gestures in Settings.

Once Optical Inserts are detected, Vision Pro automatically switches modes and displays insert information like serial numbers and prescriptions. You can rename your inserts for easier identification and enable Optic ID.

Don’t forget to check out the Comfort Tips section for adjusting Vision Pro’s fit. Guidance is provided on positioning the headband, tweaking the fit dial, and ensuring the light seal makes proper contact.

If your eyes or hands change over time, you can easily redo the initial setup process. Simply press the top button four times to launch the Eye and Hand calibration again.

Handy accessibility additions include Look to Dictate, allowing you to initiate dictation just by focusing your eyes on the microphone icon in supported apps.

Between customizing hand interactions, renaming lenses, refining fit, and redoing setups, Apple Vision Pro aims to provide a uniquely personalized and optimized AR experience. Take advantage of these options to tailor Apple’s headset to your needs and preferences. The ability to customize makes Vision Pro feel that much more magical!
