Imaging system represents a joint effort between Xiaomi and Leica. At the core sits a Leica-branded 1-inch high-dynamic-range main camera working alongside a 200MP optical zoom configuration. Xiaomi frames this as a significant advancement in handling challenging lighting conditions, particularly when ambient light drops off.
Technical specifications reveal the main sensor uses 1-inch LOFIC architecture. That’s lateral overflow integration capacitor technology, designed specifically to prevent blown-out highlights in high-contrast scenarios. Lens opens to F1.67, allowing more light to hit the sensor during exposure.
Periscope telephoto unit packs that 200-megapixel sensor behind an F2.9 aperture. Focal length coverage spans 14mm through 100mm equivalent, translating to approximately 4.3× optical zoom capability.
