Dual satellite connectivity is the Mate 60 Pro+’s premier feature. It enables satellite calls and messaging through Huawei’s SmoothLink app using China’s BeiDou network. Location sharing can also generate trajectory maps.
Beyond satcom, Huawei highlights the phone’s Ultra Reliable Xuanwu Architecture for stable connections, quad rear camera array with up to 48MP sensors, and 88W wired/50W wireless charging for the 5000mAh battery.
The curved OLED display has an FHD+ resolution with LTPO adaptive 1-120Hz refresh rates. It runs Huawei’s HarmonyOS 4.0 software with AI gesture controls and enhanced privacy features.
With pre-orders now live in China, the Mate 60 Pro+ looks to be Huawei’s most advanced flagship yet. Satellite connectivity aims to provide reliable access beyond the limits of terrestrial networks.
Pricing remains unannounced, but the Mate 60 Pro+ will command a premium over Huawei’s non-Pro flagships.
