Leaked Photos of DJI Mini 4 Pro Packaging Confirm Impressive Specs

Official product images of retail packaging for the upcoming DJI Mini 4 Pro drone have surfaced online, strongly suggesting the release of the lightweight aerial camera is imminent.

The leaked photos confirm numerous advanced capabilities DJI is bringing to its next compact consumer drone. The Mini 4 Pro will feature upgrades like omnidirectional obstacle avoidance, focus tracking for subjects, waypoint flight planning, and extended 4K video recording at 100fps.

Despite the enhancements, DJI has managed to keep the takeoff weight under 250 grams, ensuring the Mini 4 Pro won’t require drone registration in most countries. The listed flight time remains an impressive 34 minutes on a standard battery charge.

Other notable specs derived from the Mini 4 Pro packaging include:

  • 48 megapixel still photo capture
  • Lossless vertical shooting mode
  • 20 kilometer HD video transmission range
  • Time-lapse photography
  • With its portable size paired with new photography and videography skills like focus tracking and 4K100fps video, the Mini 4 Pro aims to be DJI’s most versatile and capable ultra-compact drone yet.

The leaked packaging indicates a product launch is fast approaching. DJI is likely to formally announce the Mini 4 Pro soon, perhaps at a digital new product unveiling event. The China-based drone manufacturer traditionally reveals new consumer models in the late summer and fall.

Pricing remains unconfirmed, but current DJI Mini models range from $399 to $759 USD. The high-end features packed into the Mini 4 Pro will surely command a premium price, but stay tuned for official details direct from DJI.
