Get Ready for Apple’s iPhone 15 Pro: Everything You Need to Know

Apple’s next-gen smartphone is gearing up for mass production as we speak. Though the official deets are still under lock and key, inside sources suggest this year we’ll once again see four models: the iPhone 15, 15 Plus, 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max.

Word on the street is all four 15 series will sport the Dynamic Island cutout and make the switch to USB-C. The regular 15 and 15 Plus are said to pack 60Hz display, while the 15 Pro duo will likely boast 120Hz high refresh rate displays for silky smooth scrolling.

The 15 Pro and Pro Max are expected to be the powerhouses of the bunch with Apple’s new A17 processor, WiFi 6E, a faster USB-C port, and a rear camera that zoom up to 6x. Rumor also has it these bad boys will be housed in a titanium alloy frame and sport an all-new display with one of Sony’s 48MP sensors, which could be close to an inch. Add to that a periscope lens, and the 15 Pro models are shaping up to be beasts in terms of performance, photos, and more.

That A17 chip should be a marked improvement over the current A16, delivering way better processing power and battery life thanks to a shift to TSMC’s 3nm process. Everything else looks to stay pretty much the same as the iPhone 14 Pro. One downside: the 15 Pro/Max may set you back at least 10 percent more than their predecessors.

Despite the turbulent market, Apple seems poised to knock it out of the park with the iPhone 15. According to suppliers, Apple’s issued orders to ramp up production on the new phones. Material makers and testing facilities have reportedly gotten the memo to prep for the 15’s release, and TSMC is steadily boosting output of 3nm chips.

The iPhone 15 likely won’t drop until September, but it looks like an exciting upgrade is on the horizon. The only question now is: how much damage will it do to our wallets? Stay tuned for more details as Apple’s next smartphone extravaganza draws closer!
