Sony Unveils HT-S2000 SoundBar with Enhanced Sound Quality

Sony has launched its latest product, the HT-S2000 soundbar, which promises to elevate the audio experience for home entertainment. With a new upscaling engine and powerful DSP, the HT-S2000 enhances the sound quality of two-channel sources in a comprehensive way, especially the vocals. The built-in DSP engine ensures vocal clarity and positioning, while the DSEE support adds Dolby Atmos and DTS:X compatibility to the mix.

The HT-S2000 is designed to work seamlessly with RS3S surround speakers and SW3/SW5 independent subwoofers, making it a versatile product for customers who want to upgrade their home theatre systems. It features the same speaker as the flagship soundbar, with two front full-range speakers, two subwoofers, and one center speaker, delivering rich and immersive sound.

Features of the HT-S2000 is its IMDR technology, which enhances voice clarity with intelligent voice enhancement and dynamic bass optimization. The intelligent bass compensation feature ensures accurate reproduction of low-frequency bass, improving the modulation waveform and reducing mutual interference, resulting in clear and crisp audio.

The Sony HT-S2000 supports various decoding formats, including HDMI eARC, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Atmos, DTS, DTS HD, DTS:X, and LPCM. It also supports optical connections, Bluetooth 5.2with AAC/SBC, and traditional connections, making it easy to connect to a wide range of devices, including TVs, mobile phones, and tablets.

Sony’s exclusive 360-degree spatial sound field mapping technology (360SSM) is integrated into the HT-S2000, allowing users to create multiple 360-degree sounding phantom speakers with flexible rear surround speakers. This innovative feature breaks through the limitations of physical sound channels, creating a dome-like sound field in the room for an immersive surround sound experience.

For those who own a BRAVIA XR series TV, the HT-S2000 can be paired with Sony’s A-series soundbar to activate the exclusive “center sound field mode” and integrate the TV speakers into the entire surround sound field, creating an all-in-one immersive surround experience.

HT-S2000 is a worthy investment for anyone looking to upgrade their home theatre system.
