Backbone One: The Sony-Approved Gaming Controller Now Supports Android Phones

The Backbone One, Sony-approved gaming controller, now supports Android phones, as announced by the Backbone CEO on May 30th.

The Backbone One is a sleek and stylish smartphone controller that closely resembles the Sony DualSense wireless controller and comes with similar features. Thanks to this new update, both iOS and Android users can now use the PS Remote Play app to stream and play PS games.

The latest update of the PS Remote Play app on Google Play makes it easier for users of the Backbone One – PlayStation version to set up and play games. If you have a broadband internet connection and a PS5 or PS4 console, you can use the powerful features of the PS Remote Play app to play PS5 or PS4 games on your iPhone or Android device by simply inserting it into the Backbone One.

But that’s not all! With the latest update to the PlayStation app, players can easily access the app by double-clicking the option button on the Backbone One – PlayStation version. This update also supports controller navigation in landscape mode, providing users with an optimized experience.

What sets the Backbone One apart is its ability to customize the classic PlayStation Shapes symbols through the Backbone app, and browse hundreds of games from the app store and supported game streaming services in one place. The app also has a dedicated list where players can find the latest PlayStation games and updates.

But to stream games to other devices, you’ll need a PS4 or PS5 console, the PS Remote Play app, and a PlayStation Network account. PS Remote Play can be used with a mobile data connection or Wi-Fi and requires a broadband internet connection of at least 5Mbps.

With its support for Android phones and its compatibility with the PS Remote Play app, you can now enjoy your favorite PS games on your mobile device like never before!
