Apple Shazam got lot better: Recognizes songs on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube!

Attention Apple music lovers! Apple has just announced a major update to its popular music recognition app, Shazam. The app can now identify songs playing on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, making it easier than ever to discover new music while scrolling through your favorite apps.

With this new feature, all you have to do is open Shazam, tap the blue button, and switch back to the app you were using. Shazam will then do the rest and add the identified songs to your playlist automatically.

What’s more, the updated version of Shazam not only recognizes songs playing on other apps but also tags them, making it easier to find them later on. And if you’re worried about losing your identifications, don’t be! By enabling iCloud sync via Shazam’s Settings > iCloud Sync, you can ensure that your identifications stay safe and in sync with the “Music Recognition” in Control Center.

Apple acquired Shazam in 2018 and has since integrated it into various systems such as iOS, macOS, and watchOS. Now, with over 200 million monthly active users, Shazam is one of the world’s most popular music recognition services.

To use Shazam on your iPhone or iPad, simply open the app and tap the Shazam button to identify the song playing around you. You can find the identified songs in My Music in the Shazam app, and they are backed up to iCloud. If you have an Apple Music subscription, you can even listen to the full song in Shazam and connect it to other music streaming services supported by Shazam.

So what are you waiting for? Update your Shazam app now and start discovering music !
