Samsung Next-Gen AI Robot Vacuum with Enhanced Object Recognition

Samsung Electronics announced that it will launch a new series of AI-powered Robot Vacuum with Enhanced Object Recognition at CES 2024, new Bespoke Jet Bot Combo incorporates advanced AI object recognition and steam cleaning technologies for even smarter automated floor care.

Building upon the AI+ model’s innovations, Samsung’s engineers have significantly expanded the Jet Bot’s ability to identify common household items. Using its 3D sensors and neural networks, the Combo can now actively map rooms by type and detect specific stains.

Once the AI spots a new stain, the Jet Bot Combo travels back to its cleaning station to heat up the mop pad. It then heads back to scrub away the hardened stain using high-temperature steam and water heated to 170RPM.

The Jet Bot Combo’s AI has also gained the skill to analyze flooring types. It automatically optimizes suction power and cleaning strategy based on whether it senses hard flooring or carpets. For carpets, the robot increases suction to extract dust deep in fibers.

Samsung’s new smart home helper takes care to avoid mopping carpets. When transitioning between surfaces, the Jet Bot Combo proactively lifts its mop pad or returns to the dock as needed. This prevents any cross-contamination.

Owners gain more control over cleaning zones with the Combo’s enhanced object recognition. After learning which rooms are which, the robot can be instructed to avoid unsuitable areas like bathrooms. This provides peace of mind and ensures the Jet Bot focuses on key living spaces.

The new model’s cleaning station has been similarly upgraded. A comprehensive 3-step process washes, steam-cleans, and dries the mop pads after use. This automation retains the pad’s cleanliness over many cleaning sessions.

With its more discerning AI and steam cleaning power, the Bespoke Jet Bot Combo represents a compelling upgrade over previous Samsung robot vacuums. Hands-free floor cleaning in the home has never been smarter or more effective.
