Xiaomi unveiled the MIX Fold 3, its latest iteration on a foldable smartphone. Today, Xiaomi comms director Daniel Desjarlais tweeted that unfortunately, the new foldable will be an exclusive for Mainland China only.

Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 sports some impressive specs that foldable fans would love to get their hands on. Inside, it’s packed with Qualcomm’s newest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, along with speedy LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. Xiaomi claims we can expect all-day battery life from the 4,800mAh cell, and wired 67W fast charging when you need a top-up.
Unfolded, the MIX Fold 3 reveals an 8.03-inch AMOLED screen with 2160×1916 resolution and a silky smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Folded up, there’s still a 6.56-inch exterior display for checking notifications. Both panels hit an eye-popping peak brightness of 2,600 nits.
Around back, Xiaomi partnered with Leica for a versatile quad camera system. There’s a 50MP main shooter, 12MP ultrawide, 10MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom, and another 10MP telephoto with 5x optical zoom. That’s some serious hardware that we wish we could test drive.
For now, the Fold 3 remains exclusive to Xiaomi’s home turf in China, where it starts at 8,999RMB (about $1,350). But thanks to VodaBuy, already listing the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3, Prices range from $1,500-$1,800 for the 12GB/512GB model.
