Apple’s new macOS Sonoma update brings helpful new features to compatible Mac, users considering upgrading may want to know if their device is eligible and what upgrades macOS Sonoma provides.

Compatibility Compatibility Full list: previous macOS 13 Ventura, Sonoma still supports Intel-based Macs alongside newer Apple silicon models. Specifically, the 2019 and later iMac and Mac Pro, 2017 and later iMac Pro, and 2018 and later MacBook Air, Mac mini, and MacBook Pro are compatible. Apple silicon Mac Studio is also supported.
