Great news for PC users who own Samsung phones, the company has recently updated its Quick Share app to version 1.4.40, making it available for non-Samsung PCs and laptops, means that users can transfer files wirelessly between their non-Samsung Windows laptops and Android phones/tablets or share different types of content, such as photos, videos, and documents.
Previously, the Quick Share app was exclusively available for Samsung laptops, causing inconvenience for Samsung phone users who use PCs from other brands. But with the latest update, Samsung has finally made the app accessible to third-party PCs, which is great news for Samsung users who use different brands of computers.
According to Samsung’s update log, the app now supports Windows personal computers with Bluetooth/Wi-Fi capabilities released by other manufacturers.
However, there is a catch. Samsung Quick Share currently only works with Windows devices that have Intel network cards. The app will only function on Windows 10 version 2004 (19041) or higher, with Bluetooth driver (Intel) version 22.50.02 or higher, and Wi-Fi driver (Intel) version 22.50.07 or higher.
